A Very Special Treat for Classical Music Lovers:

Andrew Wan and Charles Richard-Hamelin,
2019 Juno Award nominees in the Classical Album of the Year, Chamber Category
for their recording of Beethoven’s Violin Sonatas Nos. 6, 7 and 8.

On May 16, “this high-powered duo” will present Beethoven’s Violin Sonatas Nos. 1 and 5, prior to recording them
in June and then touring them. So, plan on being present and “hear them first” at the benefit concert. There will also
be time to mingle with the musicians and other attendees, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, and participate in a
silent auction including “Concerts” and “New to You” categories.

As an added bonus, Julie Nesrallah, a “sensational singer, actress and CBC broadcaster” will be our host for the
evening. No stranger to the Festival in the past, Julie will also be part of the exciting line-up of performers for this
year’s Festival in September.
